State governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Senator
Iyiola Omisore, has promised to offset all unpaid gratuities of
pensioners owed by the Governor Rauf Aregbesola-led administration if
voted in as the next governor of the state.
Omisore, who made the pledge while
addressing a crowd of party supporters at Okinni in Egbedore Local
Government Area, assured civil servants in the state that his
administration would ensure their welfare.
He also promised that salaries of civil
servants would be paid promptly by his administration, adding that other
sectors in the state would not be left unattended to.
The PDP candidate added that his government would operate an open-door policy to enable it attend to sundry sectors.
Omisore also warned his audience against violence and untoward acts that could disrupt the electoral process.
He was also at Ara, Ojo, Ipara, and Olorunsogo where he urged the people to come out en masse and vote for the PDP.
